The Alameda County Social Services Agency temporarily closed its Self Sufficiency Center at Eastmont Town Center, effective Tuesday, in order to deal with a rat infestation.
County officials did not provide an estimate when the center will reopen and advised the public, in the interim, to access services at the other centers, including the following:
– Enterprise Self-Sufficiency Center, 8477 Enterprise Way, Oakland (510) 639-1090;
-Eden Area Multi-Service Center, 24100 Amador Street, Hayward (510) 670-6000;
-Thomas L. Berkley Square, 2000 San Pablo Avenue, Oakland (510) 891-0700;
-Livermore Self-Sufficiency Center, 2499 Constitution Drive, Suite B, Livermore (925) 455-0747; and
-Fremont Office, 39155 Liberty Street, Suite C330, Fremont (510) 795-2428.

County officials said the closure does not impact services provided by ACSSA’s Adult and Aging Services (AAS) department at the Eastmont Town Center.
