Job seekers file applications as Walmart readies Neighborhood Market for July opening

Applicants were waiting in line as Walmart opened a temporary hiring center this week to fill about 65 full- and part-time positions at its new store in the Meadow Plaza shopping center on Santa Rita Road near West Las Positas Boulevard in Pleasanton.

'eligible associates' probably mean the store manager and assistant managers.

So looking forward to the opening up of Walmart. Should have happened long ago. This is a big plus for Pleasanton. Welcome to our neighborhoods.

Finally an anchor store for our shopping center. Finally a grocery store close to home. Such a great benefit for our Community.
