Commander in Chief or Nanny Michelle's Fruit Picker?

Original post made by Tea Party Dave, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Mar 19, 2013

President Obama is still so fixated on fundraising and divisive campaign tactics that major tragedies and world crises get ignored.

At 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, the @BarackObama Twitter feed posted a tweet that said “Snack time” along with a photo of two small children picking up apples from a bowl in the Oval Office.

First "Lady" Michelle Obama, who has been on a disgraceful national nanny tour to discuss childhood obesity, is shown sitting with the toddlers in the photo, holding her own apple. In the photo, there is a conspicuous absence of corporate brands or labels. All the food is fruit; no Mars Bars or Snickers or Baby Ruths, thereby illustrating the socialist takeover of the White House.

The president is seen chatting in the background. It looks like he's just been out in the Rose Garden picking apples off the ground.

While the president is tweeting about apples and political fights, the families of seven marines tragically killed Monday in a training exercise are mourning their loss. A genuine Commander-in-Chief would have been flying on his own dime to Nevada to investigate the explosion. But no, he's too preoccupied giving the White House a socialist makeover. I'm embarrassed to admit not only is this the worst president since Jimmy Carter, but he's also leaving the entire population exposed to malfunctioning armaments scattered throughout every part of this country. Mr. President, tear down your socialist façade and repair our military!

Wait -- are you saying that the mortar tragedy is Not Mr. Obama's fault, in the first place? Heresy!

Turn in your three-corner hat and your piccolo, Bucko -- you're not pure enough. We're drummin' your rotten self outta the Tea Party, uh, core!

Hope those apples are kosher, since barry is now visiting Israel for the first time in his 5 years in office. He should bring his wookie with him to chastise those overweight Israelis who are too preoccupied trying to defend their homeland to monitor their caloric intake.
I'm sure it won't be long before barry will be campaigning to cease the production of 60 mm shells because he's so concerned about the welfare of the military that he and chuckles hagel are dismantling

My dear Mutato: you ARE aware, I hope, that our President visited Israel as a candidate, and that it took his predecessor Eight years, not five, to call on them?

I mean, I see you there, faithfully a-slingin' that mud, but it all ends up on you.

How is the First Lady's anti-obesity campaign any different than Laura Bush's campaign to get more kids reading, or any other campaigns by first ladies. I think this started with Lady Bird Johnson's push to get billboards off highways.

I think it started with Jackie Kennedy's campaign to keep Marilyn Monroe out of the White House.

... and I'm pretty sure Michelle and Barack don't have that problem. Not that they get any credit from their most fundamental foes for being happily married.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
