Scholarships available for college-bound students

Students heading to college and who have a heart for serving the community are encouraged to apply for scholarships offered by Dowd and Guild Inc. The specialty chemical distributor in San Ramon has awarded scholarships since 1998. To date the group has given $86,000 and over 80 scholarships.

I wonder if the losers of the Miss Alameda County Pageant are planning on applying for this scholarship. Oops, my bad, part of the application isn't prancing around a stage in high heels.

Have you had so bad here? I'm thinking of taking up a collection so that you can pack and leave this country. I'm Proud to be an American!
