You can't say "Christmas" nowadays due to the Polically Correct mess. My daughter got suspended from work at Nordy's for saying that to the customers.

I agree with Waste Energy! The holiday lights on Main Street are on all night! Not to mention many residents leave their holiday light decorations on all night! This makes me furious because it is such a waste of energy. Since when was one of Pleasanton's characteristics of its community (over)consumption? The men and women fighting in Iraq come back home and look at us with awe at our unconscious wastefulness. It's disgusting. I'm ashamed that Pleasanton allows its holiday decorations to be on all night. Nobody is downtown to enjoy them. Nobody is walking around in neighborhoods at 2am to look at the light decorations. For the love of our precious Earth and natural resources, TURN OFF YOU LIGHT DECORATIONS AT 9PM!

All the great CHRISTMAS displays in the Tri Valley are at Web Link . There is no one that can compete with that website. The Times and the Herald try to with their Holiday Lights Map that shows a whole 5 houses. Wow. Why bother?
