Santa Rita - Jail for the 21st Century

Here is an video,that is getting national attention, about the Santa Rita Jail. Web Link The jail has a number of state-of-the art technologies with the purpose of saving money, including energy savings and having robots perform tasks that would otherwise be done by inmates. That is controversial because some feel a jail is not the place to be an innovator in testing new technologies. The video states that Santa Rita is the largest jail in the country.

It's my understanding that it's an enormous facility and that it functions efficiently.

It keeps prisoners behind bars where they belong.

If you cannot tolerate the decision to support a state of the art prison facility, what do you recommend as an alternative?

Civilized citizens need protection from criminals. If others continue to break the law, then there is a place for them at Santa Rita!

I appreciate being safer. If you don't like living nearby, then consider moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina. There, the military has a long history of shooting complainers, tossing them in shallow dirt graves, and moving END OF STORY/FIN
