Caledonian Club signs 5-year contract with Fairgrounds for Scottish Games

The Caledonian Club of San Francisco, promoters of the Scottish Highland Gathering & Games, announced Monday that they once again signed a five-year contract with the Alameda County Fairgrounds just in time to celebrate the 148th annual event this weekend in Pleasanton.

I'm very pleased to see this! This is a classy event that brings much needed tourism and revenue to town. And bagpipes!

I must say I have a weak spot for bagpipes!
