Last Thursday I saw these sharp grandpas toting their golf bags between the cars parked in front of TJ and McD....risking their own lives during those lunching hours. Again, yesterday, there was Grandpa's beautiful creamy Lexus, with it's gold 'L', from Fremont Lexus, and Grandpa's creased and carefully unfolded shiny sun-shield
for his 11: to mid-afternoon stay, even tho it was the single shady spot. Meanwhile, preventing at least 20-30 shopper/parkers in & out during their game stay.
These looked like very bright, older executives. Men who should have known that a few thousand feet south on Santa Rita, turning at Baskin-Robbins they have two (2) huge Rosewood lots across from each other, that always have 30 empty spaces smack dab in the middle, with no other cars crashing into each other.
It's very likely they or their cars are going to get hurt where they now spend most of a day between TJ & McD...several days a week. So far, I know of Thursdays and Mondays. I'll be checking more. I guess maybe they feel special, entitled, or maybe not. Maybe they are just plain inconsiderate, not thinking at all. OR, maybe they are not aware, that just 1 minute more, still close to freeway, they would
not be risking themselves, their cars, complicating lives of others more busy than themselves, and could swing their doors wide, walk shorter distances to transfer their beautiful golf bags....safely.
So, the Golfing Grandpas will be golfing, rather than reading this. However, I hope Grandma, daughter, son, daughter-in-law, or friend, mention this to Grandpa, and direct them to the center of CVS lot. If they can golf, drive, and have unlimited time, they can park safely, in the middle of a lot, one light south.
