1st Wednesday street party kicks off summer program in downtown Pleasanton tonight

The 2013 1st Wednesday street party will kick off a summer of downtown events with its annual Cinco de Mayo-themed Street Party tonight. The public is invited to shop, dine and stroll through downtown Pleasanton. A wide variety of businesses and community organizations, including the Pleasanton Weekly, will have booths both on Main Streete and several of the side streets. Main Street will be closed from Del Valle Parkway to Bernal Avenue from 4:30 to 10 p.m.

Lets hope this year offers some variety. Claudette, awesome the ARTblock. We need some new attractions for this fair. You can only get a free massage, watch drunk youngsters in the beer garden and learn about pet care so much..
