Pleasanton police offer drug 'Take-Back' drop-off from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today

The Pleasanton Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the fourth annual Drug Take Back Program today.

This is a great idea. Making the location for the drop off in bold type would make it easier to find out this valuable infomation.

Don't hospitals and urgent care centers (like ValleyCare and Kaiser)accept old medications too? Why are overworked police doing it?

Excellent idea. Better to have this stuff disposed responsibly than ending up in a landfill or down the toilet. Thanks Pleasanton Police.

Begs the question, What does happen with the million pounds of drugs that can't be recycled, reused, resomthing?
