Kaiser to pay $49 million after environmental, patient privacy violations

Kaiser has agreed to a $49 million settlement with the State Attorney General's Office and six district attorneys, including in San Mateo County, for illegally dumping hazardous medical waste.

They don’t care. They pay a fine only because they were caught and figure it was well worth the gamble. Very sad

Government will wait until the coffers are dried up and the ship is sinking before protecting the patients. There is more then the environment that is being hurt.
