Glazer resigns from recently created BART support committee

Tri-Valley State Sen. Steve Glazer has stepped down from the Senate Select Committee on Bay Area Public Transit after only being on the panel for a matter of weeks.

Looks like Senator Glazer did not see any support, from this committee, for what he felt needed to be done. If Bart was a private or publicly held company, changes would have already happened. Recently we've seen major companies eliminating unnecessary jobs, some because of financial need. BART needs an independent overseer more than ever, it should be this committee's top priority, so they can find what needs to be addressed, instead of relying on BART's management proposed solutions. The Grand Jury's findings this past June show that BART management has a history of being deceptive.
