Scouting for Food is Saturday, Nov 12th, 2022

Original post made by Ken mano, Willow West, on Nov 10, 2022

If you received a door hanger, please remember to place your donations on your doorstep and our Cubs and Scouts will pick them up.

• IF YOU ARE MISSED FOR THE PICKUP (OR), if you would like to donate food, please take it to the Pleasanton drop off point, at Walmart Parking Lot on Rosewood Drive between 9am and noon on Sat, Nov 12.

NO glass containers or food that has a short shelf life. Canned and boxed food is great! Protein items like canned tuna, ham, sardines, & SPAM, as well as peanut butter are greatly needed.

Scouting for Food is largest single-day canned food drive in our region.
Scouts learn the values of citizenship and community service by helping thousands of families in need around the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2021 we collected 241,987 pounds of food.

Donations will be given to the Alameda County Food Bank.
