Joel spends a lot time to community activities. He knows what community needs. He is the best choice for the district 3.

I like that Joel Liu will bring that fundamental quality "RESPECT" to the city council. Respect for our city staff.
Respect for people is the most fundamental principle.
Respect fosters community, commitment, and loyalty, empowers employees to make positive decisions.

How refreshing to see someone with constructive ideals running for the District 3 seat. The negative approach we've seen from the incumbent fails to be conducive to good governance. Having someone on the council who won't be confused at every turn can only lead to a more efficient, less divisive, and truly collaborative environment for council members, staff , and residents alike.
It is a pleasure to serve on the Committee on Energy and Environment with Joel as chairman. Meetings flow easily and I've seen how quickly he understands the topics that come before us, how relevant and thoughtful his questions are, aimed at helping each of us to understand the matters before us without trying to cloud issues or change the subject.
A welcome change indeed.
