PUSD board to consider increasing Horizon program fees to avert layoffs

After facing staff layoffs earlier this year, the long-running Horizon Early Education Center may be headed towards recovery, should the Pleasanton school board approve a proposed fee increase at their regular meeting on Thursday.

District spokesman Patrick Gannon told the Weekly, "We are at an impasse with APT but eager to continue our conversations to reach a resolution."

What a joke! The district wanted to continue negations at the end of September. The relations board is forcing them to the table. It seems that most of what comes out of the district is a lie these days.
