Prior to the pandemic, I used to ride ACE on a daily basis and train strikes were not uncommon. Either an ACE train was involved or another train up the line was involved, which caused ACE train delays. In my experience these incidents don’t always make it into the local news, because they happened elsewhere along the line.
Here’s my comment:
I would be interested in seeing some statistics published concerning these incidents as part of stories of this nature, because it *felt* like it was happening a lot and I’d like to get some perspective of the frequency, emotional impact to train engineers and any efforts to improve safety.
