As the Dublin community remains reeling after the shocking death of Catherine Kuo, more details have emerged about the circumstances at the Fallon volunteer site where the second-year DUSD trustee was fatally struck by an SUV.

I’m in deep mourning on this tragedy. I remember when I went to Kaiser for drive thru testing the health care workers had us turn off our engines and placed the vehicle on park. Going forward I hope extra safety precautions be taken at Fallon and other schools. Having an extra person to watch behind someone loading a vehicle from the rear may had prevented this. I’m so sorry for this loss for the family and comminity

Any chance it was the Tesla going in reverse? I would suppose investigators have checked the possibility. Sad story and condolences to her friends and family.
