Just say No to Nancy Allen

Original post made by Just the Facts, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Oct 20, 2020

Firsthand experience:

I was on a committee with Ms. Allen.
She offered to “Take Notes” on her laptop, which she just happened to have with her.
Thinking of an honest secretary, we agreed.

Later we found that her opinion was opposite of most of the members.
But she did not explain her position, or present reasons, or even reveal it.
The discussions and concerns of most of the committee were ignored, swept under the rug.
Vote for someone who will listen and honestly represent you. Vote for someone else.

So, Nancy volunteered to take notes. She didn’t state where she stood on the topic, which is smart as the conversations hadn’t begun. Then you state concerns were swept under the rug. By Nancy or by the committee? It seems unlikely that Nancy single handedly took an entire committee down.
