Mark was my neighbor for 20+ years. He always responded with a friendly hello or greeting as he so frequently headed out on his frequent running excercise. I began following his career when he was on the Concord City Council & have always been impressed with his sincerity and dedication to his work and sons.
I truly hope he is able to concur this pneumonia and is able to return to his work in Congress.
We need more legislators like him.

I lived in Pacheco and Mark was very helpful with our Mobile Home Park. I now live in New Mexico but know he is very good and takes his position serious. He is in my PRAYERS!

i worked with Mark when I was at BART Real Estate many years ago. We worked on getting the transit oriented development at Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Station in Walnut Creek. He was always conscientious and people oriented. please get well!!! my thoughts are with the family.
