It seems to me if it was a possible home robbery there wouldn't be pounding at the front door.... too many red flags that something else is going on here.

It was an invasion not a robbery.

DKHSK is a registered user.
The article says:
1. "The man then opened his door and "saw a man pointing a gun at him, and a woman who he recognized as his ex-girlfriend.”
2. The pair tried to assault the resident, who “fired his own gun at the suspects as he fled out of the residence and called police.”
then 3. "It is believed that the male suspect fired at the resident but missed him, Schmidt said."
How was the deceased involved? Where was she? Have they identified the ex-GF?
This is either a poorly worded/reported article or the police have deliberately (for investigatory reasons) not given out pertinent information so as to find out more info.

Navarro and White are last names. I don't know or care what race they are. What difference does is make.

Wow - If you can't figure out that Nick was listing their names (Navarro and White - the names have been released) you're not very bright. Do you think Navarro is a race?

Jennifer if you cant figure it out maybe you should attend more or your high school classes and get an education. Race always matters have you not been paying attention. "if i had a son" You do realize you live in california where race is always a factor. Look up sarcasm and you might then actually understand. LOL
YOUR NOT VERY BRIGHT!!!!!!
