On Thursday Mohr Elementary School students spent the morning packing 12,744 meals to send to families in Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Through a partnership with the nonprofit Kids Against Hunger, second- through fifth-graders packed the meals into bags decorated by the kindergartners and first-graders.
The effort was part of Kindness Week at Mohr.
