New Leaf Community Market Pleasanton is hosting two free events in February featuring Certified Health Coach Kim Rice. Read more about Kim below.

February 3: GLUTEN-FREE STORE TOUR
No need to navigate the gluten-free world alone. Join Certified Health Coach Kim Rice for a free, Gluten-Free store tour and get the information and guidance you need. Learn where gluten can hide, what the GF certification seal means, and how to pick the best products. This tour is offered on the first Wednesday of every month. Space is limited, please preregister. 6:30pm-7:30pm, Free.

Friday, February 12: GLUTEN-FREE BAKING 101
Join Certified Health Coach Kim Rice and learn how to make tasty, gluten-free cookies, biscuits and other baked goods for Valentine’s Day—or anytime! Kim will talk about the different kinds of gluten-free flours and how to use them. Enjoy G-F goodie samples. Space is limited, please preregister. 6pm-7pm, Free.

About Kim Rice: Kim is a certified health coach and gluten practitioner. She is a “warrior mom” who has been living a gluten and dairy-free lifestyle since 2007. She has experienced amazing results losing over 60 pounds and a whole host of health issues along the way. Her youngest son, diagnosed on the autism spectrum, has been on the same diet since 2009 and it has changed the course of his life. He is now considered “recovered.”
