Shocking language within Union reps and teachers shows double standard

Original post made by Not PC, Pleasanton Valley, on Sep 23, 2015

I just read the documents that included sworn depositions from high-ranking union officers and others involved in the Vranesh mess. Web Link This is so disappointing they would have such a double standard.

Give it up. There is no way that Vranesh is going to come out of all of this smelling like a rose. Not going to happen. He's done. He needs to pack up and move on with his life.

Move on?

1. The entire hearing appears to be illegal, per the education code and the ALJ didn't rule on it.
2. Some witnesses lied. The vulgar text does not exist, you can't get locked inside the office, etc.
3. All was well at WG before Vranesh and all is fine since he left? Another issue with "teacher A" in the past two weeks resulting in the custodian being re-assigned. If you want to move on then stop creating new problems. Why the extra resources at WG (Jim Hansan last year, Rich Papillon this year)? A teacher stealing campaign signs during school hours.
4. ALJ refused to allow evidence and allowed prejudicial testimony.
5. Who picked the panel member designated by PUSD since it wasn't the governing board as is legally required?
6. Why was there disparate treatment of employees? It's okay for APT leaders and the Asst. Super to swear but not a site administrator?
7. Numerous examples, documented during public comments, of people being retaliated against and intimidated by APT members. If the truth is in your side then why engage in thuggish behavior?
8. Did the punishment fit the crime?
9. Are you also ready to move on when Vranesh prevails?

@Rod: " Are you also ready to move on when Vranesh prevails?"

If by some miracle it were found that Vranesh did not in fact utter all of those "potty words" to teachers and co-workers described in the hearing, did not habitually exhibit hostile and disrespectful behavior to them, did not deliberately and completely erase his PUSD laptop hard disk drive, and it is uncovered that it was all a vast conspiracy against Vranesh by the coordinated efforts of some two dozen evil people who were just out to get him then, yes, I will be ready to move on when Vranesh prevails. Let me know when that happens.

Two dozen evil people? Wow that's an exaggeration. Two friends claim they heard him say the C word. 3 said they heard the B word. If people are getting fired for swearing at the PUSD I would say more than half of the PUSD will be out of a job. If one person gets fired for allegedly swearing, seems only fair that they all should go, or is it truly a double standard?

Erasing a hard drive is not a crime as the computer is not destroyed or damaged in anyway. Putting a operating system back on takes seconds. Is the PUSD going to fire people for screwing up their computers because if that so, again I think probably another 1/4 of the PUSD will be out of work. If we keep going the entire PUSD will be looking for a new job.

What I find most interesting is how the PUSD thinks they don't have to follow the ed code. I guess that's why we've been hearing legal settlements for students at nearly every school board meeting? Parents don't want settlements, they want their kids educated as is required by law.

The ed code also says the people complaining were to do so immediately, yet they waited 2 years because they were scared to complain to their union or the district.(as was in the OAH decision) Why should Vranesh be penalized because the atmosphere at the district offices or with the APT was so toxic these poor, poor women couldn't say a word to anyone? Seems like Vranesh is the scapegoat for problems that had nothing to do with him. Teachers are scared to talk to their union, so they don't have to follow the ed code? That's absurd!

If and that was a big IF, Vranesh was swearing at work, he should have been given 90 days to correct his behavior as required by ed code and EVERYONE should have MOVED ON. Instead some of the complainants decided they wanted his head on a stick. As for being "habitually disrespective", I would say the teachers complaining were pretty disrespectful with all the name calling they did in their tirades to Shon Davidison in the documents the PUSD posted. If they talked about vranesh in such a disrespectful and mean spirited way to an "official" investigator what were they saying among themselves?

Let's also remember that the people doing the complaining still haven't stopped at WG even TWO YEARS later. The have not moved on. The entire office staff has left to get out of a toxic situation and just this month the custodian was moved to another school after 19 because the exact same people (or person) complaining about Vranesh, complained about the custodian. I thought the only thing wrong with WG was Vranesh? Should be Disneyland over there again, shouldn't it? I think the message is loud and clear at WG, stay out of the way of the Queen bees or you'll be next.

Shame of all of this is there are some very excellent teachers at WG who have nothing to do with any of this mess.

I think if anyone that'd like to move on is Vranesh. Even if you strongly believe he did something wrong, doesn't the hypocrisy by those union reps and Superintendent seem a bit unfair? Whomever reads this should pay very close attention to the last few pages of the documents. The language some of these woman used is very unprofessional to say the least. The "C" word? Come on Mrs. Bowser have a bit more class than that. Ahmadi using the "F"word towards Vranesh, Cazares made demands to Vranesh by using the "F" word at him. Very classy and professional ladies

So the superintendents use vulgarity... the union uses vulgarity..... the teachers who complained are KNOWN for using vulgarity.... and the districts people lie. This must be solved.

Ahhhh, so now we finally see the true motivation behind the remaining Vranesh supporters here. Might have saved a lot of time by just saying that in the first place.

Now the whole truth will come out. It appears from the allegations that John was unable to fairly defend himself and PUSD really screwed this one up badly. But hey, the lawyer for the school district is still going to get paid an enormous fee.

@Jason,

Your "true motivation" is also clear. I want fact based answers, not an opinion, to the questions raised in the writ of mandate. Much time and money has been wasted and someone's life has been ruined because of a political reaction to unsubstantiated allegations. Even if you believe all that was said about Vranesh, the job of a trustee, superintendent or head of HR is to make sure the process is appropriate and legal. Grant, Larsen, Bowser, Ahamdi and Faraghan bungled this from the start then were too arrogant to admit there were issues so they kept playing a bad hand while the stakes got higher and higher.

@Rod I completely agree with this: "If the truth is in your side then why engage in thuggish behavior?"
