Omigosh! First the BART extension to Stoneridge Mall now THIS!!!

Sorry, had to be the first person to blame BART, Obama, Bush, Cholo, labor unions or Irritable Bowl Syndrome on all of the troubles in our lives.

This will be a nice addition to the local community and yes, I believe tax dollars well spent. Can't wait to get out and take a leisurely ride up to Danville.

What I want to know is where can one park to ride/walk/run the trail? Is there a staging area? You can't use the BART lot because the pay gates are inside the ticketed are of the station.

The article failed to mention that measure BB is a sales tax increase. I might vote for it if it were just an extension (though 30 years seems excessive) but doubling the County's tax seems wrong to me. Besides, the current tax doesn't expire for 8 years! Why the rush? I'm voting no.

Loved this photo caption (photo #4):

"Livermore resident Bob Coomber has sued the trail since 1986 and it excited to use the new extension. "

I just wished the trail could cross over more busy streets in Pleasanton.
