Alameda County Fair opens to huge crowds

The Alameda County Fair began its 102nd year Wednesday with opening day crowds streaming in to take advantage of $1 admission and rides.

Will there be fireworks tonight and every Friday night while the fair is here

They need to open more gates. Its taken over 15 minutes more than once to get through the entry gates. When there are over 100 people in line, it would seem common sense.
