DeSaulnier gains early support for congressional bid

State Senator Mark DeSaulnier (D-Concord) continues to receive political support early on in his congressional bid.

It's interesting to see how the political parties in California have changed their tactics since "Top Two" was implemented. They now do not want to risk having a real primary. They want to confine the competition to within the Party, so they field only one candidate in the primary. It certainly opens the process up to more deal-making (a.k.a. bribes) to take place, and takes away the choice from the voters. In California, it appears we will now have "anointed" Congresspersons.

Does Senator DeSaulnier speak Spanish? Fluently?

I would NEVER vote for anybody who doesn't have a working knowledge of Spanish in the great State of California.
