Original post made by Ken mano, Willow West, on Dec 12, 2013

Pleasanton's Community of Character Coalition is a sponsor of the "Make a Difference Day for Pleasanton," which will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Pleasanton Library from 10am to 2pm.

The focus of this event is on Community Service and Volunteerism. Exhibitors will have an opportunity to display and show their community service activities, and those attending will be able to volunteer and learn how to participate.

Groups wishing to have an exhibit can get information and an application at Applications are now being accepted, because of the size of the library's community room, the number of groups will be limited to about 24-30. Organizations which are confirmed by Dec 20th will be able to be listed in pre-event publicity.
