We had graffiti on the Kottinger Ranch sign off of Bernal, just three letters F C U. Either the tagger can't spell, or this is someone's initials or some other private acronym. It's already been painted over somewhat.
I'm surprised to hear it's elsewhere in town...must have been a busy night for somebody!

I think they ought to start looking for a Florida State University fan.

it was also on the Cole's Market building on the front of the buidling this morning...probably just some drunk fools....fooling around causing damage unfortunately...

I remembered seeing this posted before, then saw the graffiti in the downtown area....
"...FSU "an acronym for F--K S--T UP" group, who feel it's cool to get drunk and go around vandalizing cars and homes in the community. The exploits of the group is common knowledge among the local high school kids.......
I will ask around the high-school/college kids to see what they think/know about it...
Surely the PPD knows and is paying attention to the 'wanna-be gangstas'

The ppd is a joke to every kid in Pleasanton first off I think they no also. And second being a part of the great 09 class at Amdor and friend of who you call "wanna-be gangstas" you parents have no idea what you are talking about up here on this little chat room

My friends and I caused our share of trouble around Pleasanton too. But at least we had a code of honor that prevented us from damaging property. What do you got? You think people fear you? After you get a real life, maybe only then will you understand fear.

Hey, Beast Mode: Glad to see you are putting you fine education at 'Amdor' to good use.
You didn't say if you graduated or not, but based on your incredibly inaccurate spelling and incomplete sentences, you must have cut a lot of classes to go tagging someone else's neighborhood.
Good luck to you in your future endeavors as an amateur painter, artist or whatever you knuckle draggers call yourselves.
By the way, if you want a real challenge, try doing your thing in Oakland and see how long you last...please.

Beast Mode- You and all of your "friends" ARE wanna be gangsters! I'm not clowning, let me school you right quick. Maybe since my time (not that long ago) the terms have changed. Let me check, which gang is dominate over this area? Who are they fighting and why. What areas of crime do you control in the area? Those aren't standard questions, I want to know. Are you fighting for turf or drug territory, or survival? Who are the other gangs in the area. I guess my point is that there is a big difference between "gangsters" and a group of local kids that drink too much and vandalize people stuff.
See in Hayward and Richmond... I don't need to ask those questions. In Oakland, things are different now (too many independents) Are you going to at least try to defend you "hard-core" gangsters around here. I don't mean to offend these kids... but they really do need to understand that being a "gangster" isn't a game and its not supposed to be "fun" And for the record, if your a real gangster, you don't need to announce it to anyone. Why even "tag" your sign if the city will cover it the next day? Whats the pupose if nobody sees it?
For the record, "FSU" WAS a good group back east in Boston and Philly in the early 90's. It stood for Friends Stand United. It was a way for the "normal" kids to group together and DEFEND themselves against the latinos, blacks and skinheads. They originally were "straight edge" which means no drugs or alcohol. They used to be kinda a protector of the innocent. BUT like any organization which gains power, they changed and they lost their focus. It became harder and harder to keep out the bad element and it soon fell into indepedent chapters and lost their "edge"...

@beast mode: Actually you are a joke. Your kind has been around as long as there was a pig stye to sit in. It's great you've found your place in the world at such an early age. Enjoy...or grow up. Your choice.
@SteveP: If beast mode is part of the class of '09, his/her first chance at graduation is this Spring. Assuming he/she graduates, I wonder how he/she is going to buy more spray paint once his/her parents kick him/her out?
@Doo Doo: Good explanation. Our "FSU/FCU" posers would probably wet themselves if they met up with real gang bangers, or real FSU's. More likely they'll do minor time in Santa Rita for their tagging or other pitiful activities. That should be eye opening for them.

Beast Mode would not only wet himself, he would go crying to mommie if things got tough. When the Pleasanton parents pay more attention to what crap their little "gansta wanna bees" are up to and quit buying those kids the cell phones, fancy clothes and new cars maybe our town will get rid of the vandalism. Hold parents accountable! They raised the little creeps, they need to suffer the consequences when these kids get out of hand. If we wanted to live in the ghettos of some other bay area towns we would. Or just send your nasty kids there to try to survive. Either way Pleasanton wins.

If it is being done by high school kids, one wonders if they are among those that complain (along with their parents) that the teachers are assigning to much homework, the classes are too difficult, and they don't have any time for activities other than studying.

Oh I love stirring up controversy! Dear Beastie, "you parents have no idea what you are talking about up here on this little chat room"...I hope you print that out for safekeeping and have a look at it in 10 years! I'm a proud Mom of an Amador graduate who had no problem telling me everything going on because I didn't censor him... I also am not so old that I can't remember being a teenager. We parents tend to get a lot 'smarter' as our kids grow out of their teen years and get knocked around by life a little bit. It's normal and part of the maturing process. That said, as much as I love our teens in this town, in general you are much too insulated and overindulged. Go travel the world, get out of this pretty little town and go make a life for yourself. You'll come back humbled and appreciative of what this place offers and why it is enjoyed by those who make it home. It IS special....just drive a few miles in any direction and look. Parents, get your kids out of here now and then, not to some 5-star resort, but to REAL places, and point out how fortunate we are...that's a real responsibility of parents too - If your kids really expect that life is like this everywhere, they will be so sorely dissappointed, and then you'll never get rid of them! :P
To the poor disenchanted youth of Pleasanton... you don't know how lucky you are, and you won't realize it till you leave for awhile and get your a** handed to you a few times.
P.S. Beastie, please sign up for summer English class - you need to do some work, honestly. Good luck to you..and I mean that sincerely.

Sorry if the incorrect grammar offends you, I shall try to improve from now on. Seeing as I'm on my iPhone, it's kind of hard. Seeing as I got into San Diego State I figured I didn't need to impress anyone with my spelling, but apparently I stand corrected.
AVHS dad, I'm more than likely about to accomplish more than anything you could dream of because my future masters in Sports Business Management.
Steve P, I am graduating this year with the great class of 09 as I have previously stated.
And finally Stacey, if people don't fear us, why all the topics about this? If you think we
are naive about the world think again because you are scared to leave your doors unlocked at night.

We need to pass some local ordinance to impose harsher punishment on vandals and wanna-be-gangster. Mandatory jail time and steep fines should also be considered.
As a community, we need to convey a message of zero-tolerance toward vandals and wanna-be gang members.

Considering that I've been making an assumption from the start that the person who started this topic is really a member of FSU, no, people do not fear you. Let me guess. The vandalism was done late at night while no one was around. Sounds like it's you who fear people.

Beastie Mode,
From what I've heard, FSU doesn't need to look for unlocked doors. You just go into your "friends" homes and steal stuff from them.
Too bad now that some of you are going to get prosecuted - not for you, but for your parents.
That scholarship to San Diego State - if it's true - certainly not an academic one.

Big deal if he got a scholarship to SDSU. Will he actually graduate or drink himself into oblivion like so many college students? I hear the dropout rate for freshmen entering college tends to be high. Come back in four years with a degree in hand then we'll talk.

Thats just wrong! You are not supposed to OUT people on here. It makes it even worse that you did that to a kid (a minor). He didn't deserve that, he is a kid that simply ran his mouth alittle. Just keep to the conversations at hand.

For Doo Doo, you are right to call him on outing someone. The only time that is allowed is when the Jeb Bing does it to someone he disagrees with and hides behind his publisher's skirts while she makes an insincere "apology". Still no word from Jeb, just busniess as usual.

Do any of you really believe that a teenager posted here? Really? it seems that one of our many bored citizens just added some content to stir you all up. Does any really think of the time spent here is valuable? Really? It is all noise and no action, but at least you are all entertained. Just keep perspective....the only value here is entertainment. Nothing is ever changed. Not even your opinions.

@Beast Mode: Accomplishments? I consider my greatest accomplishments marrying my wonderful wife of almost 20 years and raising a wonderful son who attends Amador with you. Considering where you're going and what you want to do, could you enlighten us why you hang around with "who you call wanna-be gangstas"? Seems to me that you're putting your college education and future career at risk.

Stacey- I plan on doing both, as it is certainly what I'm doing this year. Who doesn't love 7:30 in the morning beer pong matches?
AVHS Dad- it's more for the adrenaline rush and enjoyment of breaking into things ( houses, cars etc.) and don't worry my friends will be down in so cal with me, even though it's at a community college. But don't fret, the FSU legacy is going to be continued by a choice few Juniors.
Anne- I have not heard that, but who am I to back down from a good old fashioned brawl. I have not been a part of one in a while. And by a while I mean less than a week ago.

Personally I can't think of an "adrenaline rush" that's worth hurting someone whose only offense is owning a car, home, or breathing. Not to mention the added bonus of jail time. Now THERE'S an adrenaline rush! I don't know if you've ever taken the first BART train in the morning, but I did a few months ago. Most of the people on my car had just made the walk from Santa Rita (prison) and I've never seen a bunch of happier guys that early in the morning.

Just knowing you can caught but don't makes it all entertaining. If my friends listened to me and wore masks there would be no problem. And I have no intention of going to Santa Rita, so that doesn't pertain to me.

Heard your buddy who was arrested, and many of his friends, were caught on video during their last vandalism spree. You should feel nervous, as he'll sing like a canary rather than having to room with real gangsters at a California prison.
We'll see how tough talking you are when your SDSU education is interrupted by a stint at the Santa Rita jail.

We know who you are! We figured it out with our kids and their friends from your school!! So you are admitting to being a part of this?
That's good info, I'll contact the PPD now and when they visit you in a little while at your parents house they can check via the Pleasanton Weekly if who I say you are matches up with your IP address that the Weekly tracks when you post. Yay!
Good luck

What won't work? Tracking you down by IP? Sure it does. It's real easy, too. A law enforcement group can get a subpoena to the PW for web server logs. They know the time of your posts so it makes it easy to find out where to look in the logs. I'm sure the PW wouldn't spend a lot on legal fees trying to defend your anonymity by refusing the subpeona. That's not the kind of business they're in. So then once they have the weblogs and can match your post in there with the IP, they'll go to the owner of that IP. Maybe you're on Comcast or AT&T DSL so they'll go to one of those companies. It'll be easier if you've got a static IP, but most people don't have that so then Comcast or AT&T will receive another subpeona for their DHCP logs. Once they have that they can match up which of their customers was assigned that IP at the specific time you were posting. I don't think Comcast or AT&T would bother defending your anonymity either. Most companies don't. Your mom and dad will be pretty upset when the police come knocking on your door with a warrant.

Forgot to add, it happens all the time. We always got lots of subpoenas at my old company for logs.

Good job Tom! Too funny that this pathetic juvenile thinks he is so "anonymous".
I think we should all get on with the conversation and ignore him. Apparently his parents never gave him much attention so he is getting a rush engaging adults who are lavishing him with negative attention.
I think we should just let law enforcement finish the job and ignore any future posts of his, although I don't think there will be many more...
I hear Santa Rita isn't THAT bad according to my senior who took part in Every 15 minutes, actually contributing to the community positively. BM (is anyone else finding this name so ironic, considering the quality of what he says...)
