Percussionists beat all

The Amador Valley High School winter percussion team took first place in the Northern California Percussion Association (NCPA) championships at James Logan High School in Union City on April 5. The team took first place in the percussion scholastic open class.

Congratulations! Not only do these kids work so hard with practices 10 hours a week after school, but are so talented and dedicated to their craft. Kudos to the instructors, and of course the parents who drive these kids to far-flung competitions and practices!
