Two lanes on westbound I-580 near the Hopyard Road interchange are closed after two big rigs crashed into each other this morning.
California Highway Patrol officers said the crash was reported after 4:30 a.m. just east of the Hopyard Road on-ramp.
The CHP issued a Sig-alert at about 5:15 a.m.
The fifth and sixth lanes are currently blocked.
