“Blue City” by Marie Pascal and “Saxophone II” by Beichen Li are two of their works in the public exhibition areas of the Firehouse Arts Center through Jan. 9.

Pascal was educated at the Ecole Nationale Superieure Arts Decoratifs in Paris and worked as an illustrator in her native France before moving to Pleasanton in 1989; her scenes of San Francisco and Pleasanton are small format watercolors.

“Saxophone II” by Beichen Li is among the works in the public exhibition areas of the Firehouse Arts Center through Jan. 9. Li’s works are large-scale triptychs of musical instrument montages; her work is often influenced by her father, a noted designer who created opera and movie sets in 1960s China.

The Firehouse Arts Center is located at 4444 Railroad Ave.
