Supporters of Pleasanton’s Museum On Main and even 11th District Congressman Jerry McNerney and his wife joined in the opening of the “Tri-Valley Toy Box,” an exhibit that runs through Jan. 30 at the city’s downtown museum.

Standing in front of the museum are (from left) Mary McNerney and Congressman Jerry McNerney (D-Pleasanton); Jim DeMersman, the museum’s executive director; Roz Wright, president of the museum board of directors, and Pleasanton City Councilman Jerry Thorne, a museum volunteer.

The group was at the museum’s Tri-Valley Toy Box opening reception Sunday.

The exhibit, part of the museum’s Treasures of the Tri-Valley III program, showcases toys from private collections throughout the Tri-Valley area.

The Museum on Main is operated by the Amador-Livermore Valley Historical Society. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to linking the past to the future by preserving, clarifying and disseminating information about history specific to this region.
