The National Weather Service is calling for a mix of sunshine and clouds today in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley with a warmer 67 degrees by mid-day. Variable winds of 5 to 15 mph are anticipated.

Tonight, the Tri-Valley is expected to be mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers developing toward morning. A low temperature of 49 degrees is forecast with variable winds of 5 to 20 mph.

For Thursday, the National Weather Service is calling for a drop in temperature to high of only 60 degrees by mid-day and a 40 percent chance of rain with mostly cloudy skies. South winds of 5 to 15 mph are anticipated.

Then the rain heads east late Thursday, with mostly sunny skies following on Friday and clear skies and temperatures moving to a high of 80 degrees for the Memorial Day weekend.
