The Promoting Leadership in Aspiring Youth (PLAY) Foundation Tri-Valley, which creates an environment for students to help other students and local nonprofits, raised $7,500 through its annual fundraising campaign — which normally would’ve included a spring concert, but it had to be canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The organization recently presented checks to the PUSD Foster and Kinship Program and to PPIE, along with nearly $1,200 worth of face masks and shields to PPIE. Another check was later presented to SRVUSD Foster Youth and Homeless Education Services.
