Low clouds causing 90-minute delays at SFO; fog blankets much of Bay Area

 

A dense fog advisory is in effect until later this morning in the

Bay Area with visibility reduced less than a quarter of a mile.

Passengers on flights arriving at San Francisco International

Airport this morning are seeing delays averaging 91 minutes, according to Federal Aviation Administration officials.

Traffic authorities encourage drivers to reduce their speed, use their headlights and leave plenty of distance between them and the car ahead.
