Daylight saving time ended at 2 a.m. today, which means clocks should be set back one full hour.

Sunrise and sunset starting Sunday also will be an hour

earlier.

It's also a time to test home smoke detectors by pushing the test button to make sure all smoke alarms are working, said Red Cross regional CEO Trevor Riggen.

"Working smoke alarms cut the risk of dying in a home fire in

half," he said, adding that smoke detectors should be located on every level of a home.
