Livermore church boutique today leads off holiday season

Food, pet portraits, works of artisans highlight day-long event

A Holiday Boutique, one of the first of the season, will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Livermore.

Booths will feature hostess gifts for the holidays ranging from tree ornaments, the works of artisans in many mediums, stained glass, paper crafting,, jewelry, tote bags, handcrafted head to toe personal care products and knitted dolls to cranberry sauces, jams and sourdough bread.

Pet portrait artist Brandy Tompkins will offer full color paintings of family pets based on photos. Youths from the church and school will serve specially-priced breakfast and lunch, plus coffee served all day from the Daily Grind.

The church is located at 1385 S. Livermore Ave., across from the Livermore public library and Civic Center.
