'Beauty of Light' shines in fall exhibit now at Firehouse Arts Center

75 members of Pleasanton Art League presenting artworks

No one appreciates the magic of light like an artist.

The Pleasanton Art League has chosen the theme "Beauty of Light" for its seventh annual Fall Members' exhibit at the Harrington Gallery at the Firehouse Arts Center, which is on exhibit through Oct. 19.

An artists' reception and awards ceremony will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 20, free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome to explore the exhibit and chat with the artists. Light refreshments will be served.

The special guest judge this year is Tina Moore, a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and Pastel Society of the West Coast Board.

The art league is celebrating 47 years of supporting visual arts and artists, and about 75 of its members will be represented in the multidisciplinary exhibit.
