At-risk Pleasanton teen missing since Thursday morning

Village High student last seen on Stoneridge Drive

An at-risk 17-year-old boy from Pleasanton has been missing since 7:50 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Christopher Bynum, described as black, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 135 pounds, is a student at Village High School.

Bynum had been staying at a friend's house for the last three weeks

when he went missing, police said.

Bynum has no cellphone or vehicle, police said. He likes to frequent the downtown Pleasanton parks and walk along the railroad tracks.

Bynum was last seen walking near the Gatewood Apartments at 3992 Stoneridge Drive. wearing a red and gray t-shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses.

Police asked that anyone who sees a boy matching Bynum's description call 931-5100 and ask for a watch commander or supervisor, referencing case number 2016-33412.
