Take Us Along: A little mom-daughter bonding

This year's Amador Valley High competition cheer team spent last weekend in Twain Harte on a mother-daughter bonding trip.

After time at the lake, they enjoyed games, activities and meals with each other and stayed in cabins at the lake. Every cheerleader and their mom was able to attend the event, which was organized by coach Danielle Butler.

Participants were Nancy and Ashley Boxberger, Kathleen and Mary Hinek, Leslie and Lilly Bras, Debbie Price and Kaitlyn McGarrity, Marti and Carsyn Gilbert, Sheri and Hannah Jacob, Kathy Malone and Emily Mercer, Amy and Kayla Fulmer, Barrie and McKenna Shaffer, Gina and Maci Manos, Sophia and Elise Zurcher, Diana and Katherine Jackson, Leilani and Melia Storey, with coach Butler.
