The hills will be alive Sunday as three-time Grammy Award-winning blues musician Keb Mo performs at Camp Arroyo for the Taylor Family Foundation’s 26th annual Day in the Park auction fundraiser.

Local celebrities will also attend, including news personality ABC7/KGO TV’s Cheryl Jennings and KCBS food and wine editor Narsai David.

The foundation supports families in the community who are in medical crisis through grants that provide children with clothing, payment for medical devices or for funeral expenses. Camp Arroyo, in the hills near Del Valle Regional Wilderness, was built specifically for children with life-threatening and chronic illnesses and developmental disabilities to explore, learn and grow in an ideal outdoor setting.

The Taylor Family Foundation also runs a mobile music therapy program in partnership with Wells Fargo and the Forever Young Foundation, bringing music to children attending Camp Arroyo and those who are home-bound or patients in hospitals in Northern California.

Sunday’s auction fundraiser will include gourmet food and wine from top Bay Area restaurants and wineries. Auction items include private chef dinner and sports packages, private air accommodation to red carpet events and luxurious vacations. A drawing will offer the chance to win a 2016 Fiat 500X Pop all-wheel-drive.

Tickets for the event are $200; visit www.ttff.org or call 455-5118.
