Police arrest former student for sexual battery in Foothill High parking lot

Grab female student, tears her shorts before fleeing

Dong-Hoo Lee, 20, a former student at Foothill High School, was arrested by Pleasantn police Monday on charges that he accosted a female student in the school's parking lot.

Pleasanton Police Lieutenant Brian Laurence said that Lee grabbed her buttocks and tore her shorts in the parking lot confrontation at about 12:45 p.m. and fled.

The school's on-duty Resource Officer along with other police and school staff quickly responded to the girl's report, but the suspect had already fled.

Further investigation identified the suspect as Lee, a Pleasanton resident.

Laurence said Lee Lee returned to the school at about 3:15 p.m. and was located near the student parking lot by the Resource Officer. He initially provided a false name, but was eventually arrested without incident.

A search revealed Lee had a knife, although there is no indication that he attempted to use the weapon against the female during the earlier incident.

Lee was arrested for sexual battery, possession of a knife on campus and providing false information to a police officer. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
