Child safety fair set in Dublin today

Assemblywoman Baker, Valley Children's Museum hosting event

The Dublin community, along with Assemblywoman Catharine Baker (R-San Ramon) and the Valley Children's Museum, will host a child safety fair Saturday in conjunction with the unveiling of the new "Imagination Playground" at Emerald Glen Park.

The free event will offer parents a variety of child-safety information, including tips on fire safety, pet and animal safety, pool and open water safety, and bike and road safety. Each parent in attendance will receive free child identification and fingerprinting kits.

The fair is set to run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at the park at 4201 Central Pkwy in Dublin, near the Gleason Street entrance.
