Man shot near Arroyo Creek in Livermore Tuesday

Two men being sought; victim in critical condition

A 25-year-old man was shot in the area of the

Arroyo Creek bike trail west of Holmes Street in Livermore Tuesday afternoon.

Livermore police responded to reports of shots fired at about 1:15 p.m. They found the

victim suffering a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

Two men in their 20s had confronted the victim there and then shot him, police said. The suspects then fled south across the Arroyo Creek.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The suspects remain at large.
