The period to nominate candidates for Pleasanton city offices in the November election begins on Monday morning (July 18) and runs until Aug. 12 at 5 p.m.
Pleasanton residents will vote for mayor and two City Council members during the Nov. 8 General Election. The mayoral post is a two-year term and the council positions are four-year terms.
