A 'Red, White and Blue' First Wednesday today

Stereo Bounce to play today's hits and some oldies

July's First Wednesday Street Party downtown tonight will celebrate "Red, White and Blue" with live music, food trucks, vendor booths, kids' activities and a beer and wine garden.

Musical acts during the Pleasanton Downtown Association's event include Stereo Bounce playing today's hits and some oldies in the Entertainment Garden, and Garage Band Academy and Come As You Are playing on the ends of Main Street.

The kid's zone, sponsored by the Alameda County Fair, features face-painting, a video-game truck and other activities on St. Mary Street.

Taking place two days after Independence Day, this week's First Wednesday event will run downtown from 6-9 p.m.
