Oak Tree at Pleasanton Racing Picks Thursday, June 23

Here are the picks for today's horse racing at the Alameda County Fair for Thursday, June 23, by racing expert Dennis Miller.

1. Mistical Rose, will charge down the middle. Vuelve El Rojo, looks very good here. Tac It With Charm, won here last year.

2. Ronnie's Girl, been drilling over track for debut. Finish Wealthy, barn sends two solid runners. Hay Dolly, other entry from Morey barn.

3. Renegade Run, shooting for three straight. Azure Bay, tired in return. Ourprincessmelanie, a must on tickets.

4. Feisty's Cause, the one to beat. Betting McCann Can, will be a force out front. Saint Adalbert, could have first run on leaders.

5. Sandor the Hound, seems most consistent runner. Tiz Fitting, will save ground. Beautiful Mine, could grab a piece.

6. Intaxication, fired fresh in last. Colorado Strong, will push the pace. Trelawny, will be there if speed falters.

7. Jayhawker, barn great with turf to dirt. Alamo Pintado, shipped north and won last. Handsome Hank, speed, style put close.

8. Spread the Joy, look at this huge drop. Katy in Cahoots, love the work pattern. Golden Sale, chance with a price.

Play of the Day:

Feisty's Cause, this should be the horse to catch in this race. Broke maiden here last year, winning by nine lengths. Has shown speed in each start except for turf start last out. Took four month break at start of year, came back and was second in 870-yard quarter-horse race, sharpening speed. Then had decent turf start and now comes back to main track. Hot jock up and gets speed favoring track.
