Campo di Bocce hosting 2016 Bocce championship through next Saturday

Free event features variety of competitions and divisions

Campo di Bocce in Livermore is hosting the U.S. Bocce Federation's 2016 Bocce Championships today through July 2.

During the event, players take to the court in a variety of competitions and divisions.

Among those set to participate is Navina Bernardi of Pleasanton, who took fourth place in the women's singles division last year in Italy at the CBI world championships for punto, raffa, volo (PRV), a form of bocce named for its three distinct shot types.
