Friends of Pleasanton Library book sale ends today

Sunday special: All you can fit into a grocery bag for $7

The Friends of the Pleasanton Public Library will close its annual Spring Book Sale at the library today with a special deal: all you can fit into a grocery bag for $7.

More than 40,000 donated books, CDs, DVDs and other odds and ends have been on sale since Friday night with proceeds supporting new materials, programs and equipment for library programs and services.

Sunday's closing sale takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Because of the event's popularity and limited space, no strollers or electronic devices are allowed.
