Livermore police seeking woman who stole package off porch

Videotape shows her taking package, driving away in red compact car

Livermore Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a woman suspected for stealing a package off of a porch last week on Bluebell Drive.

Police said the suspect, who appeared

to be in her mid-20s, was videotaped taking the package off the porch in the Springtown area of Livermore.

According to police, the suspect was a passenger in a red compact car that stopped directly in front of the residence.

Police said the suspect then got out of the car and went straight to the front porch, stealing the package before returning to the red car and driving off.

The victim's home security surveillance system recorded the incident.
